The Beginning

Where it started

When we get rid of what we don't need, what we have is more valuable. Occam SEO was born from the frustration of large companies charging for what doesn't provide value. We believe that when we condense what we have and only use what is important, our lives are more valuable. We want to do the same for your business.

Why Occam's Razor?

Occam's Razor states that if there are two explanations for the same outcome, then the one that needs the least explanation is usually right. When you schedule your first audit, we will approach your issues efficiently and communicate exactly what needs to be done. We won't sell you on what you don't need-we know how valuable your time is.

The person
behind the razor.

Background

In 2023, I opened my first business, an organic skin and haircare company named JW Honey. After meeting with multiple companies and individuals about SEO strategies and being quoted for services I didn't need, I decided to do it myself. I realized that more than half of what they recommended to me wasn't needed, and taught myself how to create my own successful, optimized website. No clutter, only necessity.

Why I do this

I'm obsessed with cutting out the things in my life that don't bring value, and I bring that into my business. I want to bring it into yours so that you can rank higher with less work. Cut down to scale up.

Outside the work

I used to start every day thinking that I had to do everything. Practice my music, journal, read, record and edit content, go to the gym, and go to work. That made me feel even more unorganized and stressed than not having a routine at all. Once I switched my mindset to optimization instead of maximizing productivity, things got a lot more simple. I instituted simple systems in my life with positively compounding results over time. I lay out my clothes for the gym in the morning. I only buy single ingredient foods. Every daily task is made simpler, both in life and in business, and I want to bring that success to you.
